I almost became Spider-man! So close!

¡Mi Gente! So first off, thank you for all your letters! I heard that some people sent letters and they might not have gone through yet for some reason, but we set a record! So thank you so much it meant so much to me! I probably just got too many so they are holding them back.... Here’s a scripture to give you an idea of how the food is hitting everyone at the CCM right now: Jeremiah 4 19 My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war. Yeah...... Anyway, this week has been super eventful! First of here’s the story of the week which took place right as we came home from devotional. Through my bad luck we got a giant spider in our room. It was absolutely gigantic! In our room there is Elder York, Elder Hinckley, Elder Ward, and Myself. Elder Ward is a big man, but the dude has arachnophobia.... Elder Hinckley popped a nerve in his neck the day before, so he looks kind of like Stephen Hawking right now because he can’t move his neck. So Elder Hinckley is looking for the spider as Elder Ward is hiding in his bed in fear. Hinckley eventually finds the spider on the curtain next to York’s bed (above mine), and he proceeds to try and smack the thing with a fly swatter, but he flings the thing across the room. Elder Ward starts jumping out of his bed screaming like a little girl right as York and I enter the room, and when the spider hits the ground it immediately starts charging Elder York and he pushes me out of the way to run the opposite direction. Then Stephen Hawking (Elder Hinckley), armed with a fly swatter, jumps off the bed and slaps the heck out of the thing and makes a spider pancake. Elder Ward continued his high pitched screams for a little while, and I’m pretty sure he was a little traumatized, but he is fine now. Besides that little venture we got our toughest investigator to finally accept baptism. We were super pumped, and the spirit in our lesson was so strong. I just love that feeling so much! I leave for Tampico Monday, and I have a mixture of emotions. It’s a mixture of nerves and excitement for what is to come. I don’t know when my next email will be but I’m quite excited to FINALLY see the people of Tampico. ¡Hasta Luego!
