Mom & Dad had Dr. Pepper and some snacks delivered to Elder Griffin & his companion Elder York. The MTC delivery service posted this picture on their Instagram.
¡Hola Mamá!
Hey Mom! Today is a short P-day! So up here in la Ciudad de México we
are 2 hours ahead of Oregon! On my way here my plane got delayed by an
hour, but I was able to meet up with another elder on the flight! His
name is Elder Mikesell. He and I made it to Mexico at about 5pm and we
had to wait for another group of Hermanas and Elders to make it to the
airport, so we didn’t end up leaving the airport until about 7:15pm.
We eventually made it to the CCM around 8 and had dinner and got all
our books and name tags around 9:20 PM, about when I emailed you. At 9:30
I met my compañero (companion) Elder York, from Buffalo New York haha!
He’s an awesome guy! He is now the District Leader and I am the
assistant district leader with him!
The first week, even though hard, has also been so amazing. My
district is awesome and I can’t wait to tell you more! How am I going
to do that you may ask? I told this to dad, but lucky for you and mom
while I am in the CCM I get an iPad so I can call you over Facebook
messenger! I am definitely calling you once this sends!
