Hey Dad Give Me Your Sniper In The Finland War

¡Hola a Todos! This week has been wet, sweaty, and cold. How all that happens in one week, I have no idea. Tampico is a freak of nature. It's been so humid that we sweat buckets, but also rainy at the same time. It's crazy. We also had a cold front come in so now it's humid, rainy, and freezing. THAT SHOULDN'T BE POSSIBLE! Así es la misión. Elder Tello leaves tomorrow morning for Huejutla, Tamazunchale. Yeah, it's a mouthful. I am grateful for our time together, and his wisdom in my training. I am receiving a new companion, an American, which is exciting. I am excited to have a new set of eyes here in the Borreguera. Spanish is kicking my butt a bit, but it's mainly just little grammar errors here and there, but I am working in my studies to kick spanish's butt (is that even possible or grammatically correct?). We had three baptisms this week, I baptized manuel, who can't walk. It was a significant effort to get him into the baptismal font, but we got him there. I said the words, and had some difficulty getting him into the water. I almost had to supplex the guy WWE style to get him fully under the water. One might say his sins didn't want to leave. It was a sacred experience for me, and as I carried him out of the font he felt much lighter. Presidente also took us to McDonalds and we got some hamburgers. That was a blessing after all the beans, rice, and picadillo I have eaten in these past four months. Gotta love some good ol' Micky D's! I asked Sebastian, one of our investigators, how much english he has learned, and he said to me, "Hey dad give me your sniper in the finland war." I don't know where he learned that and neither did he... Anyways, it was a good week. ¡Les Amo! Elder Griffin
